Nobody in the house can log into anything without asking the other person, and the phones are out at dinner. Those feel like two problems. They're one.
Two visits, about two weeks apart. I inventory what's in your house, you tell me how you actually want to use it, and then I build it — shared password vault either of you can get into at 2am, notifications off, phone-free zones from your own agreement. Break-fix is pay-as-you-go. The monthly retainer is month-to-month — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime. The annual retainer is the one commitment I offer: 12 months, in exchange for my best rate.

Always. You get the number before any work begins. Hardware is itemized separately at cost, and out-of-area travel is disclosed upfront at IRS mileage rates. No surprise invoices.
